Directed by: Burt Brinckerhoff Starring: Gerald McRaney, Wendy Phillips Anne's Character: Kay Borgstrom Genre: Drama / Family Plot Summary: Russell Greene brings to shore a girl that seems to have drowned from the lake. As he provides CPR, he prays that she be saved. She suddenly comes to. Kay watches this unfold, and believes that he is an angel who can do miracles. She begs him to cure her of her cancer. Russell denies having any supernatural powers, but Kay steals a kiss from him and believes herself to be cured. She quits going to chemotherapy and thanks Russell for the "miracle". Soon after, she becomes sick again and visits Russell, only to collapse on his doorstep. She is taken to a hospital, where Russell prays that God will save her spirit. She sees the light at the end of the tunnel, and dies happily, knowing her future in heaven. Notes: This is arguably Anne's most dramatic role. CBS submitted Anne to be considered for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
