Okay, by decree of some passing ROB, you are transported to the BSG universe. Which character would you like to be, if you had a choice? _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

Always wanted to be Apollo. A good father, a leader who taught through example, and somebody you could trust. He didn't get girls in quantity, but the ones he stuck with longer. |

Hard to say. I guess overall, it would be Apollo or Adama, since I think Adama has the wisdom of knowing how to act like a good diplomat that even Apollo sometimes lacks. I couldn't give a final answer but it would be one of the two. |

Heh heh. C'mon, Mike. Serina died very quickly, and Sheba and him barely began a relationship. Not exactly longevity in my books, though we assume by his character that it would have been 'until death do we part' if all women he was destined to love weren't so malignantly plotted against by the writers.
Sen, you started this thread, who would you have chosen? I'm curious. Morbidly so, but still curious. |

Anyone who assumes inevitability with Apollo and Sheba always assumes longevity with them! |

I think Tigh. A quiet anchor for the Commander. _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

Not necessarily re: Eric's comment about inevitability and longevity. I also assumed they would be inevitably paired, but never assumed they would go the distance. See that other thread. |

I don't add vowels, Sen. You drop them. |

Oh, and by the way, I pick Dietra. Of course, I would want to explore her character a bit more, but I loved her no-nonsense approach with Apollo when he tried to get the squadron to return to base when he was under attack in LPOTG, and she instead made sure they bailed him out.
And if I could be a guy--and why not if I'm being transported across the universe--then, of course, I would be Starbuck. Or maybe Croft. |
