A ship? A space station. A code name for a rendezvous point with Imperious Leader? What do you think?
My take:
It suddenly occured to me...here in the U.S., whatever military vehicle the President flies in is automatically desgnated " One". His plane is Air Force One. If it is a Marine chopper, it is Marine One, if navy, Navy One, and so on.
Perhaps, since President Adar was travelling to the Armstice signing in an official capacity, the ship he was travelling on was, for that period, desgnated Star Kobol, reflecting it's temporary state as the seat of power. It is possible that as a civillian, Serina was not privy to which ship Adar was aboard, so she used the designation Star Kobol, to mean that particular vessel.

Ah, I see you checked out Concordance.
Yes, one of those little details I never really picked up on before. Star Kobol. Well, on another thread, you asked where would Adar first meet the Cylons to sign the Armistice. I think perhaps a military ship, like the Atlantia, would be inappropriate. Oh, you could just see a delegation of Cylons boarding her--how wrong would that feel to every Colonial Warrior aboard? How much potential would there be for something to go wrong?
No, they would have needed a more 'neutral territory' for the signing of the Armistice. Your battleship or mine? Or how about the Star Kobol instead? Something along the lines of a ship meant for discussion/debate and perhaps appearing less threatening to non-Colonial civilisations. The same ship that would have historically traveled as an envoy to forge new alliances, since Serina spoke of her as if everyone knew her role.
My take. |

Ha ha! We cringe at your jokes, Zazar. Your time is at an end!
And no, I never checked out any concordance. I was just drawing an analogy from the way we do it here in the States. _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

Up here in the Provinces, I'm not even sure our PM has his own bird. I wonder what he'd call it if he did? Maybe Airfarce One?

I don't suspect, I know.
I don't know what I know, but I suspect it doesn't matter. |

I suspect that it does, actually. In fact, I KNOW that I suspect that it does. I just know it.
