Every now and then I come across a little beauty of a BSG quote that I either didn't quite notice the first 27 times around, or I just didn't retain it. So, the game's afoot. The rules? This is strictly a MEMORY game since the field is relatively small.

So tell me the episode and the character that delivered the phrase.

"By the Lillium Moons . . ."

Hmm, Starbuck in "Long Patrol" concerning his reaction to the large supply of ambrosia on Proteus?

(That's strictly a guess!)

Good guess, I can see that, but wrong. See how some of these phrases can still leap out at you? Try again?

The funny thing is there shouldn't be a quote that wouldn't leap out at me given how immersed I've had to become in the episodes doing all the adaptations but that one just has me stymied. Unless it's from "Lost Warrior", "Gun On Ice Planet Zero" or "Take The Celestra" which are the only three episodes I haven't adapted and thus, haven't studied closely in terms of dialogue.

Cain in "Living Legend" or Adama in GOIPZ are the only other guesses I can summon specifically right now.

That phrase would make a great Colonial song title parodied from an Earth standard, "By the light (beat-beat-beat-beat) of the Lillium moons......" Smile

Bellaby-"Magnificent Warriors"?

(I'm determined to get off as many guesses as I can before certain other parties chime in!)

Heh heh. Now who on Earth would you be referring to?
Nope. Afraid not. It's a great little phrase though. I'll have to incorporate it into a fanfic. Maybe by the same character --which is sort of how I found it while doing research for my latest story.

Can we just guess character first and then figure out episode later? (Please???) Smile

Wouldn't dream of it.

What was that then? A mime instead of a chime?

I know. I almost made rule number two that you and Sen couldn't guess for a few hours. I honestly thought you'd both nail it. Yes, my opinion of both of you has plummeted. Apparently, you're human after all. Wink

Of course, I'm only saying that because I use Sen and Eric for reference when I'm writing. They know all the little facts. Just so that other comment isn't taken out of context.
