Sen,

She was in the play The Merry Wives of Windsor as Mistress Quickly.

She said she felt like an idiot for not doing live acting until later in life, but wasn't frustrated about it because Shakespeare had parts for all ages.

Well, she is ageless!

Is that performance on VHS/DVD anywhere?

Not likely since the rule at any live theatrical performance is "use of recording devices is strictly prohibited."

I was unsure, since the post merely said that she was in a play. I did not know if it was on the tube or not. PBS has shown many Shakespeare plays.

True, but this is very local theatre. If you're in the neighbourhood of LA you can check them out: Kingsmen Shakespeare Company website

Sadly, too far away. Would be like totally cool, though.

It's always unfortunate that a good performance on the stage has to be so fleeting and ultimately unpreserved.

Nowadays, every Broadway show gets videotaped for archival purposes only, but are never made available to the general public.

Yeah, I agree that all of these great performances of Anne will be lost to time. Too far for me as well. Wouldn't it be great to see her perform live!

Well, with video devices being ro small these days, more and more plays will end up being bootlegged. Hopefully, recording them will eventually become okay, and these performances can, as you say, not be lost to time.

Buck Rogers In the 25th Century("A Dream Of Jennifer") Both her and Gil Gerard were great, IMO.

Joyride Even though Anne's a bit embaressed with that role, it's still a good movie.

I honestly don't know if Anne embaressed by her part in Joyride, we never asked her. I think it's a great movie and she played a nice part in it, nothing to be embaressed about. Maybe she looks different now at the nudity in it, but that's just a very small part in the movie and I guess it's "functional" in the story. It's not like she did a movie were she runs around naked all the time...

The episode from Buck Rodgers is my favorite episode of her. I haven't seen many other episodes and movies from her. When I get a chance, I'll have to look for some of them.

Welcome to the board! And for finding more of Anne on DVD, a reminder that a guest shot on "Fall Guy" comes out on the 5th and her first "Hardy Boys" appearance on the 12th.
