Ah, then evidently I'm writing for the wrong show. Thanks for pointing that out, Eric. |

I didn't mean any offense in my comment to what your take might be regarding that kind of scenario. Only offering my own perspective. Admittedly a lot of that comes from being locked into a particular path that's been consistent in the stories I've written but that's just my take. Sorry if it came across otherwise. |

Well, since my last contribution to the VS smashed the hell out of the angst scale, to the extent that we've had to replace it at the Colonial County Fair, you might understand why I took it personally. I think I took"over-angst" to a new level. And I loved every moment of it.
Thanks for the olive branch. |

You did a fine job, we've all done a fine job. If someone had polled us about four years ago I think it was, when the VS idea was first floated, the idea that we'd be on Episode #17 all this time later would have been seen as more than fanciful and everyone who's actually taken part in it, deserves a vote of thanks.
Even in a collaborative effort that flows smoothly, we're bound to have a few differences of opinions on some matters that would happen if say we were writing that many all by ourselves. Maybe I'd do less angst, you wouldn't have Apollo and Sheba end up together (in my case, I've loved every minute of bringing them together and keeping them together, or in the case of my "Galactica 1984" trilogy, bringing them back together as it turned out after many yahrens apart), but that's only a testimony to the variant bursts of creativity this show in general is capable of inspiring in us. |

I LIKE THE SCENE WITH SHEBA AND HER FATHER, AFTER BEING SO TOUGH, SHE SEEMS SO VULNERABLE AND SWEET. THAT SHOWS THE TRUE DEPTH OF THE PART AND OF ANNE'S RANGE OF ACTING. PERSONALLY, I HAD SUCH A BIG CRUSH ON HER WHEN I WAS YOUNG, I WOULD HAVE WATCHED ANYTHING WITH ANNE LOCKHART IN IT!!! HA!!! _________________ M E ROSSON |

Rewatched "Hand Of God" again very recently and once again came away looking at the Apollo-Sheba scene in the Cylon fighter and culminating in their first kiss as my favorite. And the way Richard Hatch played it after he left, just looking askance with a very thoughtful expression as if he's finally realizing something deep inside him for the first time, is IMO one of Hatch's finest acting moments in the entire series. |

The source of the space grunge on the hull. Hence SB having to clean off the outside of the hull with a toothbrush. _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

Just to add to the earlier point, it would have been nice if at the end of the scene in HOG, where after they land safely back on the Galactica, they could have been greeted by a cheering crowd of warriors and Cassie makes her way to Starbuck where they get to kiss, and then Apollo and Sheba get another moment together. |

So I made sure I wrote a scene like that in the Hand Of God adaptation.
(Another cheap way to bump a thread to liven things up!!) |
