Is there a particular reason there has to be one at a time, Eric? I would think, much like the fanfiction list, that stories could be posted concurrently and enjoyed by everybody. Otherwise, it gets a bit restrictive having to wait for one writer to finish posting his/her story a chapter at a time. After all, if each story has its own topic, there would be no confusion. |
I took this as a request to publish your fanfiction here as well. If so: I've made you a section, so feel free to do so! If I'm mistaken and was too bold, I apologize and will remove the section.

Thanks for the consideration. Alas, my own fanfiction is a bit more Starbuck-centric, so doesn't really meet the 'Sheba as a main character' criteria you instituted, but I will keep it in mind in the future, Marcel.

You could see it as a challenge to pick up the glove and write a new story containing Starbuck and Sheba. Maybe the Fleet needs two ace pilots for their next mission. Or who's knows, they might even end up in a romantic affair...

Oh, absolutely a possibility! In fact, it would be nice to see a Starbuck/Sheba story since I believe the best one I ever read was the one that Vaughn and Sharon did on the archive's challenge page, unfortunately unfinished, and that was a while ago. Here's the link in case anyone's interested.

And I do write Sheba into my stories, usually as a friend to Starbuck, and a romantic liaison with Apollo, but I have to admit that I'm with the camp that ultimately see Apollo/ Sheba crashing and burning relationship-wise. I see them both as passionate, career driven people who would constantly lock horns. But that's the fun of fanfiction, getting different perspectives on the characters and running with it.
I'm currently writing another story on the archives, but I'll keep in mind your suggestion, Marcel. I'm also already signed on for the VS--what is it next, guys? 17?--but after that I'm a free agent.

Up until then I'll remove the section. When you want to start it up, let me know.

Sounds good. Would look rather conspicuous sitting there with no posts. Thanks Marcel.

Well if there aren't any posts, would you consider chain link?

We have plenty of fans now who showed their craftmanship in the written word, but I'm still missing the painters or comic artists (or "digital" airbrushers). I know there are plenty of those around as well (but I guess maybe not on this board?!?!)
Plus a question to the writers I was wondering: Any of you ever tried out poetry (Sheba or BSG related) and like to share? _________________ GALACTICA.TV | My Battlestar Galactica | Terry Carter - official site | Anne Lockhart - official site |
