I suppose I can admit that Athena was one of those characters that never really stood out for me. Hey, I didn't even notice that she disappeared in the final eps.
However, I really saw her potential after reading some of those fics. It was nice to have my opinion of a character altered by well-written fan fic. |

I never knew there'd been an Order of Athena Defenders! Whoever coined the term was obviously borrowing from the term I coined on the original Galactica mailing list, The Order of Sheba Defenders when we had a large spate of nasty anti-Sheba posts for a long while. |

I recall one of the writers being on the list. I don't remember her name, but do recollect her telling me to "take care of my girl" when I wrote some Athena related stuff for the VS.
"Athena's Fury" comes to mind as a title for one of her stories. |

Playing second fiddle?
Can't remember the details. Just remember it being well written. Possibly resurrected Athena/Starbuck. |

What's Colonial for "fiddle"? Did Baltar play one while the Colonies burned? _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

How would *you* as Athena get him away from Cassie? |
I'd woo him with fumarellos and ambrosia and of course a night of dining and dancing and a private room aboard the rising star, not to mention a game of strip pyramid. _________________ Now, *that* is precision flying! |
