I've never been a fan of the Terrible Terra Trilogy as I called it growing up. For years I avoided watching the episodes in the repeat cycle but even when I reintroduced myself to them, the problems only got magnified.
I don't have so much a problem with the premise of Sarah as a character, but I think the execution just failed on writing/acting/directing levels. |

Funny, I saw her performance as actually a notch or two above Randolph Mantooth's. Somehow, his portrayal of Michael seemed over-the-top. Even a bit hammy at times. She was definately better. _________________ "The dull mind rises to Truth through that which is material." -Suger

As a specialist in guest stars (since we tracked down so many for GALACTICA.TV to do interviews), I always liked Lance LeGault. He was the only one that had two guest parts in the same series. He played Bootes in TLW and Maga in TMWNL and BE. Maga was my favorite, though I didn't like how they changed the make-up in BE. Looked cheap.
A special guest star that probably nobody ever noticed was a small role of a man count Iblis talks to when visiting people in poor conditions. The role was played by Kirk Alyn, aka the first Superman:

Yes, Alyn's appearance was a nice surprise and given how his character is ridiculing the idea of the "count who has come to work miracles" you have a former Superman questioning the superman potential of Iblis!
Alyn had a brief cameo in the first Christopher Reeve Superman movie with Noel Neill in which they were playing Lois Lane's parents but the scene unfortunately was cut in the original theatrical release (but restored in one of the DVD cuts). |
