Anne's second "Incredible Hulk" appearance in the show's fiifth and final season comes out on October 21, and in the new info category, her very first adult role (after doing earlier stuff as a child) in a 1972 episode of "Cannon" gets released on December 2.

Which must make those without DVD players "green" with envy.

Very Happy

Anne's "Cannon" appearance was released today on DVD. This is about the last item I realistically expect of hers to get out on DVD for a long while.

Had a chance to watch the "Cannon" episode. It was only a small part for Anne, playing one of a group of teens (she was 20 at the time) who have come under the influence of a Manson-like cult leader and are prepared to commit murder for him. Cannon thwarts the plot (I guess you could say this foreshadows Sheba coming under the influence of Iblis? Smile)

Hhmm... One might think.
Just out of curiousity, who played the baddie?

Well they're releasing more "Cannon" on DVD this summer so I guess for now they think sales are good.

Curiously, "Barnaby Jones" remains MIA on DVD despite being the same production company. It'd be nice to get one more Anne appearance out on DVD if that title would begin (though I believe she didn't appear on that show until it's second season).

Overall, there isn't much left of her 70s TV DVD work likely to get on DVD anytime soon. If the "Hardy Men" movie project gets made, then I'd expect Universal to release the final season of "The Hardy Boys" on DVD which features her second appearance on that show. But that's about it. In a year or so though, expect to see her final "Murder She Wrote" appearance from the show's final season (1996) where she played a most unlikely contract killer.

It sure was a casting against type. I found it a bit disturbing, actually.

It was only against type in terms of her profession. Her "cover" role was pretty much the usual Anne which made the revelation more startling.

Hey, at least she wasn't the actual killer in the episode. Smile

Which only shows her versatility.

There's rumor of a DVD release of "Tales Of The Gold Monkey" sometime next year which if true would mean one more TV guest shot of Anne's to make it to DVD.

The show does have a cult following of sorts. I never saw an episode of it when it was on, but would get it just to see AL's guest appearance.

One appearance of hers I remember watching when it aired that I know will never see the light of day on DVD was a short-lived ABC series called "Lottery" from 83, an updated version of sorts of the 50s series "The Millionaire". I remember being taken aback because that was the first role I'd seen her in with her hair cut short!
