Not that I think she'd be the best actress for that kind of role, but that it's one that given her look and talents it's easy to see as something she *could* do.

She could do almost any sort of part. Hades Hole, she's done Shakeaspeare, I'll wager a cubit or two she could do Granny on Beverly Hillbillies iff'n she had a mind'tuh!

Well, there are always *some* parts that even the most talented of people should steer clear of as not being "them." (Tony Curtis and the old "Yonda lies the castle of my faddah" syndrome).

Not only did TC never say that in The Black Shield Of Falworth, or anything remotely like it, but I have always found that one of my fav movies.
And, now that i think of it, I could see AL in the part played by Janet Leigh.

The syndrome is genuine among actors, even if the line isn't. Wink

Speaking of Janet Leigh roles for Anne, I guess you could also add "Prince Valiant". But no "Psycho" or "Bye Bye Birdie!"

I saw BBB as a stage play. I think Anne can do alot better. As to Prince Valiant, oh yes.

Anyone know if she's done Queen Gertrude in Hamlet?
