Just for the sake of the rest of you, Her Zazaness was actually referring to The Lion In Winter, the line posted being spoken by Timothy Dalton, as KIng Philip Augustus of France.

Thanks for the scoop -- Timothy Dalton? Did anyone else like him as Bond, or am I an army of one? Smile And, for the record, what does everyone think of the new Bond? I know, the movie's not out yet, but you can see the commercial...

I loved Timothy Dalton as Bond. I thought he brought a real edge to the character. They needed a departure from the overtly light-hearted Roger Moore, and Dalton was a definite contrast. Haven't seen the newest. Not even the commercials. Please tell me they haven't turned Bond into a woman. Wink

Nah, has all been done before by anybody other than the official Bond makers and won't be shocking or orginal any more. How can you ever compete with triplet Bonds (Charlies Angels)? They tried it for Indiana Jones as well (Lara Croft/Tombraider) but it will never be the same or as popular.

I liked Dalton in one of his earlier films: "Mary, Queen of Scots" and he was great in the Mini Series "Jane Eyre" of course.

Uhm, LZaza --

My Cousin Vinny? Maybe? (Well, Fred Gwynne was in it, and he did play Herman Munster...) Joe Pesci?

Hey, I took a shot. Smile
